Yes, we must be watchful and vigilant every day. Passivity is indeed an invitation to the enemy. It is helpful to have a prayer partner/s who sound the alarm when it comes knocking. In our meetings, we would 'clean people off' as they entered. Just as Jesus washed the disciples feet, we need our feet washed as we walk this dusty earth. I once said I was going to put a "demon detector" in the entryway to stop unwanted company! We will be praying for you also.

Roxanne you are in a very GOOD place! The Holy Spirit draws us with hunger for more. He has caused you to awaken from the slumber of routine. He has so much more for you. The lessons in the school will build a foundation for you to go forward in the Spirit.

As mentioned in a previous post, I'm prayerfully considering rejoining a church where the members "walk the talk". I've been at a church full of spiritual babies, just because the preaching was on fire. I believe the Lord is leading me to return to the other church.

I've also created an online community for struggling and new believers.

I've become frighteningly passive in the spiritual realm. So passive, that I've opened the door wide to the enemy of my soul just so that I could feel again. And, He busted the door wide open and entered my temple the night before last with a "sensual" (demonic) dream. I have not had dreams like that since I was saved in 1999. Truly, this is a time when we must be watchful and vigilant, for our adversary does seek to erode our faith so that he may devour us.

Lord willing, I'm returning to a church that I left several months ago. The fellowship was "too good to be true", people who earnestly loved one another as Christ commanded us to. I'm not used to "church" folk actually behaving like mature believers! I'm used to jealousy, rivalry, contention and strife... Glorified carnality and spiritual infants running around the church as if they're in control of the "show". Carnality suits me just fine, 'cause I'm comfortable in my carnality. But, I'm beginning to believe that the Savior wants more for me.
